About the coffee:
Located near Pitalito, Colombia, this community lot is a quintessential Huila coffee. We’ve sourced this coffee through our partners at Coffee Quest, whose owner lives in Colombia full time sourcing coffees directly from producers.

It’s not common that we purchase communal lots, but when we do, we try to make sure that the quality meets our standards for any single producer coffee. This coffee fits the bill.

Laboyano is loaded with caramel and brown butter sweetness that’s balanced with a lingering soft citrus peel acidity. The full body of this coffee makes it one we love on espresso and cold brew, and can also be brewed as a daily drinker on drip or pour over.

We love how all the elements of this coffee aren’t overpowering and they work well with one-another across lots of brew methods.
