About the coffee:
The producers around Worka Chelbesa pay close attention when allowing the cherries to ripen fully before harvest, which results in an extremely sweet coffee. Danche is a washing station that purchases cherries from around 400 growers who benefit from fertile soil and quality growing methods.
This is a high-scoring washed Ethiopian coffee that is both sweet and rich. The fruit-forward notes are typical of a coffee from Danche. There’s beautiful pulp fruit notes like peach and papaya with incredible tea-like sweetness.
The rounded mouthfeel makes this coffee reminds us of sweet peach tea.
