About the coffee:
This coffee comes from the Gura Factory, which is one of 19 stations in the Othaya Cooperative. It's one of the older in the Nyeri region of Kenya.
The coffee is grown between 1750 and 2000 m.a.s.l. which lends itself to very dense cherries with intense acidity and incredible sweetness. This coffee brings forward the classic Kenya fruit-forward cup we love at Moxie.
It’s got aromatics of red berry and citrus, and in the cup we taste a wild cocktail of tropical punch, orange and berry juices, and a hint of black tea on the back end.
The complex acidity ties all the various fruit notes together in a nice harmonic cup that’s an exciting drinker.
