From the Codech co-op near Concepcion Huista in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, comes
a rare traditional washed coffee. Rosalio only harvests the most ripe cherries from his farm, and takes great care in processing the cherries meticulously by removing defects throughout the process. His craftsmanship is obvious both in talking with him about his coffee and especially in tasting it.
Unlike so many Huehue coffees, Quez Na presents a different perspective of this traditional washed process Guatemala coffee. The fruit-forward acidity is bright and lively, while the delicate florals and tea-like body bring a refreshing, unique display of what’s possible from this region. This coffee took 2nd place in the 2023 CODECH competition and has placed high every year since.
