Welcome to Moxie's first ever "Producer Series."
This is an event open to the public and the first in a new series of origin-focused tastings we’ll be hosting in 2026. This event marks the beginning of a program designed to bring our community closer to origin through coffee, conversation, and direct connection with producers.
At this first event, we’ll be featuring Cup of Excellence winner and legendary Costa Rican coffee producers, Solis & Cordero. We were first introduced to Ivan Solis’ coffee about three years ago, and were blown away by the quality and dynamic flavors. The clean, clear profiles were phenomenal and we’ve been looking forward to working with them ever since. They will be live on video call during the event to share their passion and process behind two coffees we’ll be tasting and serving, a washed Geisha and experimental process Red Honey Catuai.
You’ll have the unique opportunity to hear from the producers about their journey to producing world-class coffees and take part in a Q&A session about farming practices, processing methods, and the story behind these coffees.
The event will include:
- Guided tasting of both coffees
- A filter coffee sample of both coffees
- Light food bites (made by our amazing pastry team) & wine
We’re hoping to do more events like this in the coming year and beyond, as our way to showcase the incredible work done at origin and bring the larger coffee community together here in Phoenix.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of remarkable coffee, unique education, inspiring story telling, and some delicious bites and wine to round out the experience.
